Position with Peace Games: Americorps member, Program/Operations Consultant, Building subsitute at a Phase 3 Boston School

Years with Peace Games: 4 years

Peace Games memories:
Working with the Chittick School students while they launched their "A Dollar a Day will Help the Children Play!" campaign to riase funds to repaint their school yard with local Boston artist SIdewalk Sam.  It was really amazing to watch them transform during the project. One of the students said "We have done alot and Ms. Maureen said we would make a difference.  I did not       believe them in the beginning, but now I know. You can change things."                                                                                               Maureen facilitates Toxic Swamp
                                                                                                                                 
What Maureen is doing now:
Maureen was hired as a full time employee at the Peace Games national office!  She now works as a regiounal program specialist overseeing the Peace Games program in our Boston schools.


Names:   Loh-Sze Leung and Peter Tsai 

Positions with Peace Games:  Both were volunteer teachers and Teacher-Coordinators, and members of the Peace Games steering committee. 

Years with Peace Games:  1993-1997 as volunteers, Loh-Sze was an LA advisory board member 1999-2000 and a consultant 2001 and 2005.

A few fun Peace Games Memories:  Writing cirriculum until wee hours of the morning, carrying 100 pieces of posterboard around for volunteer training sessions, 1,000 kids doing the "rainstorm" at Harvard's indoor track facility during the Peace Games festival.

What Loh-Sze and Peter are doing now:  Loh-Sze is the Director of SkillWorks (a workforce development initiative in Boston; Peter is a pediatric resident at Boston Children's Hospital.  The best news, they are married now!  .
